I know. If you’re rolling your eyes just seeing the headline Eldora, that’s okay. Don’t bother reading on, this mountain is not for you and that’s okay—that’s another free parking spot for me and my friends.

Eldora Ski Area 

Warren Miller Entertainment sends its film crews to all ends of the earth to capture jaw-dropping footage for its annual iconic film. This year’s flick features Chamonix, the Swiss Alps, and heli-skiing in British Columbia’s Bella Coola. It also features unassuming Front Range favorite, Eldora Mountain.

Two years ago, in August of 2017, my husband, Carlton and I made one of the most important decisions of our lives: to move to Colorado after 15 years in Vermont.

As March winds down, Colorado’s ski areas are in the midst of a great spring season with ideal conditions for experts, guests ready to learn to ski or snowboard and everyone in between. Late season features warmer temperatures perfect for learning or for those looking to enjoy a non-skiing activity or the mountain environment.
