FAQs

Create an account at shop.coloradoski.com/registration.

For each student in grades 3–6, you will need to upload:

  • a photo (no hats, goggles, or sunglasses)
  • proof of grade

Limit one (1) CSCUSA pass per student/child. Please allow 3–5 business days for activation.

Acceptable documents include:

  • school report card
  • school I.D.
  • school transcript
  • passport
  • birth certificate

School documents must include both the year and the student’s grade.

While we appreciate that it can be effortful to acquire proof of grade documentation and while we know that you sincerely want to buy the appropriate Ski Passport for your student (we know you do! And we love that!), the following documents are not accepted:

  • any school document that incudes a grade but NOT a year
  • screenshots of texts from your student’s teacher stating your student’s grade
  • handwritten notes on lined notebook paper
  • graded homework (no, but congrats on nailing that assignment!)

Any current student in grades 3–6 is eligible for a CSCUSA Ski Passport.

Legal guardians may purchase Ski Passports for any students in grades 3–6 that are in their care.

All CSCUSA passes and cards are digital.

Passes and cards take approximately 3-5 days to activate.* You will receive an email notifying you when they are ready to use.

You must validate each of your planned visits to a member resort in your CSCUSA Pass Portal ahead of time. We’ll track exactly how many visits you have available at each ski area. Just validate and visit the ticket window!

*Before the season starts, passes and cards may take longer to activate.

Go to shop.coloradoski.com/registration.

Login with the username and password you created at the time of purchase.

Go to our Visit Validation FAQs page or watch this helpful video. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

Passes and cards may be validated as early as 7 days before your planned visit, or on the day of your planned visit.

We recommend that you do not rely on internet/email access once you are at the ticket window of your chosen resort. Many resorts have only variable broadband service capability at or near their base area.

Log into your Pass Portal and choose your first Ski Passport holder, in the right column.

Each Ski Passport holder’s validation screen will have a Christy Sports voucher notification, in the left column.

Click the linked text (TWO FREE JUNIOR RENTALS). Take a screenshot of the voucher and bring it into any Christy Sports location. They’ll take it from there.

Follow the same procedure for each of your Ski Passport students.

A commemorative Ski Passport is a printed plastic keepsake card.

You cannot use a commemorative Ski Passport to buy a lift ticket (or anything else, for that matter). You can put it in a scrapbook, stick it on a bulletin board next to your kids’ artwork, or use it as an ice-scraper (although it will take you a looooooooong time to scrape your windshield, as it is the size of a credit card).

Commemorative Ski Passports are available for an additional $25 each through our shop.

More Mountains for Your Money

There’s nothing like a bluebird day in Colorado. Crisp breezes. Billowing powder. And mountains as far as the eye can see.

It’s how you introduce your children to a lifelong sport. It’s where you watch them push and grow. Where you connect and reconnect with far-flung family and catch up with old friends. Where you swap stories and give in to giggles and make memories.

Want More?

The new Gems Parent Pass gets you more mountains, more memories, more of what you love.

Available only with the purchase of a Ski Passport or Gems Teen Pass in our shop. One (1) per household. Quantities limited.

Colorado Ski Country USA is dedicated to creating opportunities for kids to participate in Colorado’s heritage of skiing and snowboarding. We are proud to have served more than half a million students since 1996.
