GEORGETOWN, COLORADO – Loveland Ski Area received 8″ of new snow in the early hours of Friday, October 13, proving (as if we needed proof) that all you need is love—even on the unluckiest day of the year. The snowmaking team started making snow at 9:00 pm, and the guns were still going at 2:00 that evening.
Loveland hopes to open in late October this year. Last year, Loveland opened on November 3.
