If I could change one thing about my childhood, it would be that I wish I started skiing at a younger age. When Arapahoe Basin fired up a chairlift on October 21, 2017, they also kicked off their 70th Anniversary season. 70th anniversaries are a big deal. Not many married folk reach this milestone, and in Colorado, only five ski areas are older: Howelsen Hill, Loveland, Monarch, Cooper and Winter Park (Aspen Skiing Company also got it's start around the same time in 1946).

Silverton Mountain Extends 2016/17 Guided Operating Season Silverton Mountain

Silverton Mountain, celebrating its 15th Anniversary Season in 2016-17, has announced a nearly 20% increase in guided skiing availability.
