The owner of Wolf Creek Ski Area, Kingsbury "Pitch" Pitcher, will be inducted into the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame on October 17th, 2014! Pitch will be honored for his role in the development of the ski industry in both Colorado and the United States. Pitch, who celebrated his 95th birthday in July, has played a role in the development of many Colorado ski resorts including Snowmass, Buttermilk Mountain, Arrowhead (Beaver Creek), ski properties near Telluride and Wolf Creek. To top off Pitch's induction to the hall of Fame, Wolf Creek is celebrating it's 75th season of the "Most Snow in Colorado"!
