Reminder: the Gems Parent Pass is available only after the completed purchase of a Ski Passport or a Gems Teen Pass.
If you have purchased a Ski Passport or a Gems Teen Pass and received your purchase confirmation email(s), and you still don’t see the option to purchase a Gems Parent Pass in your Pass Portal, we recommend the following:
The issue is typically related to how your browser stores page data, and once you try one or all of the steps above, you should see a Gems Parent Pass offer available for purchase.
Once you have logged in to your Pass Portal, look for Want More? or Gems Parent Pass Offer, and we’ll see you all on the slopes this winter!
You may only submit one Proof of Age/Grade document per student.
Each document must include the student’s name and age or grade. If you are uploading a school document, it must also include the school year.
Acceptable documents include:
If your Proof of Age/Grade document does not meet our requirements, your Ski Passport activation will be delayed until a new document is provided. You will be notified by email with instructions on how to correct or resubmit it.
If you upload a Proof of Age but not Grade document, it will be used to place your child in the correct grade and will be based on Denver Public Schools’ age guidelines for the 2025–26 school year:
If your student has an activated Ski Passport from a prior year and is still eligible based on their age, you do not need to resubmit documentation when purchasing this year’s Ski Passport. You will be able to renew their Ski Passport in the Pass Portal.
Individuals repeating all or a portion of the Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade do not qualify for a repeat pass. All information provided in the application is subject to verification by CSCUSA. If an applicant provides any false or inaccurate information in their application, a pass will not be activated. If a pass has already been activated, it will be revoked if it is determined that false or inaccurate information has been provided.
CSCUSA Ski Passports are non-refundable and non-transferable. All sales are final.
While we know it can take some effort to gather the right documentation—and we appreciate you wanting to make sure your student gets the correct Ski Passport (we really do!)—the following documents are not accepted as valid Proof of Age/Grade:
❌ Any school document that lists your student’s name and grade but does not include their date of birth
❌ Screenshots of texts from your student’s teacher confirming their grade
❌ Handwritten notes (even from grandma)
❌ Graded homework assignments (although we are impressed by that A+!)
If your Proof of Age/Grade document does not meet our requirements, your Ski Passport activation will be delayed until a new document is provided. You will be notified by email with instructions on how to correct or resubmit it.

After you complete your purchase and your Ski Passport has been activated, log in to the CSCUSA Pass Portal.
Once there, validate each of your planned visits to a member resort. You can validate a visit up to seven (7) days in advance. You will receive a Visit Validation code email (you can also access each of your Visit Validation codes in your Pass Portal) and instructions for How to Redeem at each member resort.
We’ll track exactly how many visits you have available at each member resort. Just validate and visit the ticket window!
CSCUSA passes and cards take approximately 3-5 days* to activate. You will receive an email notifying you when they are ready to use.
*Before the season starts, passes and cards may take longer to activate.
Click the Pass Portal tab at the top of this page and log with the username and password you created at the time of purchase.
Reminder: usernames are all lower case, no spaces.
Go to our Visit Validation FAQs page or watch this helpful video. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
Passes and cards may be validated as early as seven (7) days before your planned visit, or on the day of your planned visit.
Once a validation is confirmed, it cannot be canceled.
Some member resorts may require you to follow a multi-step process to redeem your Visit Validation code.
We recommend taking a screenshot of each of your Visit Validation codes, so you don’t have to rely on internet/email access once you are at the ticket window of your chosen resort. Many resorts have only variable broadband service capability at or near their base area.
Each Ski Passport comes with two (2) free junior daily rental packages from our Presenting Sponsor Christy Sports.
Visit any Christy Sports location and present your CSCUSA Ski Passport/Christy Sports vouchers at the time of purchase.
