Update: Kendall Mountain Recreation Area Master Plan

Kendall Planning Committee Members Sought

Volunteers are being sought for the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area Master Plan Committee, a citizens advisory group charged with making recommendations to the Town Trustees on a variety of issues related to the Kendall planning process. Applications are currently being accepted for two seats that are being vacated as a result of the recent municipal election. To be considered for this committee, individuals must be full-time, year-round residents of Silverton or San Juan County, be free of any potential conflicts of interest, and be able to commit 10 – 15 hours per month for a period of 12 – 18 months. Skills or experience in the following areas are desired: Law/Contract Negotiations, Recreation Planning or Outdoor Industry Business, Fundraising (non-profit capital campaigns and/or equity investment), Public-Private Partnerships, Large Scale Construction/Development Projects, Economic Development Projects, Finance/Budgeting. Applications are due by 5 pm on May 1, 2020.
