Kendall Mountain offers affordable family fun with 240 feet of vertical drop, 4 groomed trails, multiple tree runs, a small terrain park, and 1 double chair lift! Concessions are offered when the lift is running and the ice skating rink is open as conditions permit. Skating, sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed any time!

Best Known For

Kendall is best known for being family and beginner friendly at a fraction of the cost of other Colorado ski resorts. Come experience our small town charm in the winter wonderland of Silverton!

We have extended holiday operations, open daily for Christmas/New Year's (12/20 - 1/1), MLK Weekend (1/17 - 1/20) and President's Weekend (2/14 - 2/17) and Spring Break (3/20 - 3/29).

SKI WITH SANTA - On Christmas Day, kids can ski with Santa and his elves. Wear your Santa hat and we'll have free hot cocoa and candy canes in the base area!

FREE SKI SUNDAYS -  Kendall will offer free skiing every last Sunday of the month this winter! Guests of all ages can ski free on the following Sundays: December 29, January 26, February 23 and March 29. 

NIGHT SKIING - The ski trails will be illuminated from 6 - 9 pm for nighttime fun on two special Saturdays this season: January 11th and February 8th. Lift tickets are only $5 for kids and $10 for adults. Season pass holders ski free! Day tickets and discount passes are not valid for night skiing. We'll have fireworks on February 8th as part of our Snowscape celebration!

SNOWSCAPE WINTER CARNIVAL - Join us February 8 for this annual winter carnival featuring fun events like the cardboard box sled derby, a bonfire, ice disco, fireworks and more! Night skiing from 6 - 9 pm with fireworks at 7:30 pm. Theme to be announced!

COMMUNITY SKI RACE - Wax your skis, sharpen your edges, and get ready to rumble at the Kendall Mountain Community Ski Race Series! Community members and visitors of all ages are invited to participate and prizes will be offered in a variety of categories. Dates and details to come!

CLOSING DAY LUAU & LOCALS APPRECIATION DAY - Ski free on our last day of the season, Sunday March 29th! Bring a grill and some grub, don your best Hawaiian shirt and enjoy a limbo contest, leis, and fun spring vibes! Lift tickets are free and everyone's a local!

Ski, snowboard and ice skate rentals are available in limited quantities and on a first come first served basis in the base lodge on days when the ski hill is open.
