Kendall Mountain offers affordable family fun with 240 feet of vertical drop, 4 groomed trails, multiple tree runs, a small terrain park, and 1 double chair lift! Concessions are offered when the lift is running and the ice skating rink is open as conditions permit. Skating, sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed any time!
Kendall is best known for being family and beginner friendly at a fraction of the cost of other Colorado ski resorts. Come experience our small town charm in the winter wonderland of Silverton!
We have extended holiday operations, open daily for Christmas (12/22 - 12/25), New Years (12/27 - 1/1), MLK Weekend (1/17 - 1/21) and President's Weekend (2/14 - 2/18).
This winter the night time at Kendall will come alive with a variety of fun special events!
CLOSING LUAU & LOCALS APPRECIATION DAY - Ski FREE on our last day of the season, Saturday, April 6th! Bring a grill and some grub, don your best Hawaiian shirt and enjoy a limbo contest, leis, and fun spring vibes! Lift tickets are FREE and everyone's a local!
NIGHT SKIING - This season you can experience Kendall’s slopes by night! The ski trails will be illuminated from 5 - 9 pm for nighttime fun on three special Saturdays throughout the winter season: January 19th, February 9th and March 23rd. Food vendors, beer and wine, a bonfire and a DJ will liven up the evening. Tickets are $25 adults and $17 kids/seniors. Children 5 and under ski free! Day tickets, discount passes and season passes are not valid for night skiing.
ICE DISCO - New this season, come boogie the night away at the Kendall Ice Disco! We'll be spinning 70's disco tunes at the Kendall ice rink from 5 - 8 pm on Saturday, February 23rd. Join us for a costume contest, beer & wine, food vendors and tons of fun! FREE and open to the public.
COMMUNITY SKI RACE - Wax your skis, sharpen your edges, and get ready to rumble at the Kendall Mountain Community Ski Race happening Saturday March 16th! The GS course will be open for inspection at 9:30 am, with racing from 10 am until noon and prizes awarded at 12:30 pm. Community members of all ages are invited to participate! Entry fee is $5 per racer and cash prizes will be awarded for best combined time for 2 runs in the following male/female age categories: 4-5, 6-8, 9-11, 12-15, 16-18, 19-60, and 60+. Overall fastest male and female times will receive a free Kendall season pass for winter 19/20!
Ski, snowboard and ice skate rentals are available in limited quantities and on a first come first served basis in the base lodge on days when the ski hill is open.
