Winter Park also Expanding Adventure Assurance Benefits for 20/21 Pass Holders

On April 17, Ikon Pass introduced Adventure Assurance, the industry’s first free program designed to alleviate uncertainty and provide flexibility to 20/21 pass holders. Today, Ikon Pass announces expanded Adventure Assurance benefits and more options to offer pass holders peace of mind for winter 20/21.

Winter Park Resort is joining Ikon Pass and extending extra Adventure Assurance benefits to Winter Park season pass holders as well. Using the new Zero-Day Credit, pass holders who renew or buy a 20/21 season pass will have the option to defer the purchase price to a 21/22 season pass if they don’t use their 20/21 pass for any reason – no questions asked. Plus, now pass holders have until April 11, 2021, to decide to defer their pass. The extended deferral period gives pass holders added security in their purchase should COVID-19 impact the upcoming winter season. There are more details about expanded pass benefits on the Winter Park season pass web page here.

Whether pass holders ski a little, ride a lot, or choose to not use their pass throughout winter 20/21, Adventure Assurance has skiers and riders covered. Ikon Pass holders may elect to defer the purchase price paid for their unused 20/21 Ikon Pass to the 21/22 winter season. Or, if passes are used and there is an eligible COVID-19-related closure at any North American Ikon Pass destination, Ikon Pass holders will receive a credit toward a 21/22 Ikon Pass based on the percentage of days closed, more details below. Expanded Adventure Assurance coverage is free and included with every previously purchased 20/21 Ikon Pass and new 20/21 Ikon Pass purchases.

In addition to Adventure Assurance, Ikon Pass also offers double 20/21 renewal discounts to provide some value back to skiers and riders for the shortened 19/20 winter season, now available through Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

NEW: Expanded Adventure Assurance
