Bluebird Backcountry is the newest partner of Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), the state’s ski industry trade association, joining 22 other ski areas.
Bluebird Backcountry is a newcomer to the ski industry and takes a non-traditional approach (no chairlifts, for example) with a mission to enhance backcountry access and education in a fun and friendly ski-patrolled environment.
In tandem, Bluebird Backcountry will join CSCUSA’s GEMS Card for the remainder of the winter. The $35 card entitles holders to two redemptions at each participating ski area of 2-for-1 lift tickets or 30% off lift tickets (or, in Bluebird’s case, day passes) at GEMS ski areas across the state.
GEMS cardholders may present their cards on site at Bluebird’s Guest Services desk for a 30% discount on a single day pass or a 2-for-1 day pass deal (ideal for ski partners who are visiting together). No reservation is required to use a GEMS card at Bluebird, and the deal is available Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays through the remainder of the 2021 season.
