Redemption Instructions

How to redeem

Participating ski areas may have specific instructions on how to redeem a Ski Passport lift ticket. Your little Ski Passport holder must be present to redeem their ticket. Please be prepared to provide their first, last name, date of birth, or CSCUSA barcode number at the designated redemption location at each resort. Redemption information for each resort is listed below and also available in your Parent/Guardian portal. 

Any advanced reservations made through resort websites must be confirmed with the resort. Colorado Ski Country USA is unable to cancel, modify, or change reservations made on resort websites or through resort call centers.

Redemption Instructions
Arapahoe Basin

1. Select the date your Ski Passport holder wants to ski or snowboard at https://store.arapahoebasin.com/s/lift-tickets/p/partner-exchange.

2. Select a 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport.

3. Select the date you wish to use the Ski Passport.

4. Follow steps to complete check out; parents/guardians will need to create an account with A-Basin if one doesn’t already exist.

5. On the day of your visit, please visit Guest Services. They will look up your student by one (or all) of these variables: first name, last name, or DOB*.

6. Once validated your Ski Passport holder will be issued a BASINCARD for ski area access.

*Please have your Welcome email from CSCUSA available, in case Guest Services asks for it. You can always access your Ski Passport(s) from your parent/guardian profile*

Aspen Highlands

1. Head to a ticket office or call (800) 525-6200 in advance to redeem.

2. Inform the agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder.

3. Provide the Ski Passport holder’s first name, last name, and date of birth.

4. The agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder information and verify the identity of the student.

5. The agent will issue the Ski Passport holder a lift ticket valid for the dates specified.

Aspen Mountain

1. Head to a ticket office or call (800) 525-6200 in advance to redeem.

2. Inform the agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder.

3. Provide the Ski Passport holder’s first name, last name, and date of birth.

4. The agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder information and verify the identity of the student.

5. The agent will issue the passport holder a lift ticket valid for the dates specified.

Buttermilk

1. Head to a ticket office or call (800) 525-6200 in advance to redeem.

2. Inform the agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder.

3. Provide the Ski Passport holder’s first name, last name, and date of birth.

4. The agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder’s information and verify the identity of the student.

5. The agent will issue the Ski Passport holder a lift ticket valid for the dates specified.

Cooper

1. On the first visit, the parent/guardian will need the CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder’s barcode number. (The barcode number can be located underneath the Ski Passport holder’s photo in the parent/guardian portal OR in the activation email sent to the parent/guardian).

2. Present this information at the Will Call office; your CSCUSA Ski Passport holder must also be present.

3. A day pass will be issued and loaded with all 4 visits that will be valid during the 2022–2023 season.

Copper Mountain

Head to the ticket window to redeem a daily lift ticket.

Echo Mountain

Reservations are highly recommended.

1. CSCUSA Ski Passport holders can follow this link to the Echo Mountain website to make a reservation.

2. Online tickets must be reserved before 11:59 pm the night before the valid ticket date.

3. One Buddy Pass (12 and under) can also be reserved through the website for each Ski Passport holder visit.

4. Visit the Echo Mountain ticket counter on the date of reservation to receive an RFID lift ticket. 

Eldora

1. The CSCUSA Ski Passport holder must come to the ticket window, with the child present, to redeem their lift ticket for the day.

2. Eldora will look up the Ski Passport holder by first name, last name, or DOB.

3. A single day lift ticket will be issued.

*Ski Passport holders can only redeem one ticket at a time; multiple days cannot be redeemed in a single visit.*

Granby Ranch

1. The CSCUSA Ski Passport holder must come to the ticket window, with the child present, to redeem their lift ticket for the day.

2. Granby Ranch will look up the Ski Passport holder by first name, last name, or DOB.

3. A single day lift ticket will be issued.

*Ski Passport holders can only redeem one ticket at a time; multiple days cannot be redeemed in a single visit.*

Hesperus

1. The CSCUSA Ski Passport holder must be present to redeem.

2. Visit the Hesperus ticket window on the day-of.

3. The lift ticket agent will look up the Ski Passport holder information by first name, last name, or DOB.

4. Daily lift ticket will be issued.

Howelsen Hill

1. Head to the Concession Stand located inside the Howelsen Lodge.

2. Inform the lift ticket agent that you are a CSCUSA Ski Passport holder.

3. The Ski Passport holder must be present to redeem.

4. The parent/guardian and/or Ski Passport holder will be asked to say or write down their first name, last name, and date of birth.

5. The ticket agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder information and verify the identity of the student using the photo provided at the time of registration.

6. The ticket agent will issue the Ski Passport holder with a youth lift ticket valid for that day only.

BLACK OUT DATESCSCUSA Ski Passports will not be valid during ski races when 3rd–6th grade age groups are racing. Please check https://steamboatsprings.net/131/Howelsen-Hill-Ski-Area for race information.

To check on the usage or visits remaining on your student’s Ski Passport, log in to the parent/guardian portal at any time.

Loveland

1. Bring passport holder to a sales window (either the Basin Ticket Office or the Valley Sales Center office).

2. The CSCUSA Ski Passport holder must be present at time of redemption.

3. Ticket agent will verify child through the CSCUSA website for redemption.

4. The Ski Passport will scan into our sales system to allow redemption and daily pass be made.

5. Ticket will be given to child and attached to be able to scan at lift; ticket is valid only for day of redemption.

Monarch

1. Prior to driving up to Monarch, print or take a screenshot of your confirmation email showing the student name and CSCUSA Ski Passport number.

2. Go to the Lift Ticket Windows on the north side of the main lodge.

3. Inform the Ticket Window agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd/4th/5th/6th Grade passport holder and say or write down their first name, last name and date of birth.

4. The Ski Passport holder must be present to redeem.

5. The ticket agent will pull up the passport holder information and verify the identity of the student using the photo provided at the time of registration.

6. The ticket agent will issue the passport holder with a junior lift ticket valid for that day only.

*Initial ticket can be reloaded at next visit. Please hand it to the ticket agent. A$5 replacement fee will be charged if ticket is not brought for future redemptions.*

Powderhorn

1. Head to the lift ticket office at Powderhorn.

2. Inform the ticket agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder.

3. The Ski Passport holder must be present to redeem.

4. The ticket agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder information and verify the identity of the student using the photo provided at the time of registration.

Purgatory

1. Head to a ticket office or call (800) 525-6200 in advance to redeem.

2. Inform the agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder.

3. Provide the Ski Passport holder’s first name, last name, and date of birth.

4. The agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder information and verify the identity of the student.

5. The agent will issue the Ski Passport holder a lift ticket valid for the dates specified.

Snowmass

1. Head to a ticket office or call (800) 525-6200 in advance to redeem.

2. Inform the agent that you are a CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder.

3. Provide the Ski Passport holder’s first name, last name, and date of birth.

4. The agent will pull up the Ski Passport holder information and verify the identity of the student.

5. The agent will issue the Ski Passport holder a lift ticket valid for the dates specified.

Steamboat

Passport holders can redeem online or in person.

To redeem online in advance:

1. Provide the CSCUSA Ski Passport parent email and Ski Passport holder DOB and Passport #, located in the parent portal under the photo of the Ski Passport holder photo.

2. Follow prompts for date selection and hit submit.

3. Steamboat will send communication to the parent with confirmation of the dates requested, including ticket pickup instructions.

In-person Redemption Instructions 

1. Head to the ticket office with the CSCUSA Ski Passport holder.

2. Provide the Ski Passport holder’s DOB and/or Ski Passport # (located in the parent portal under the photo of the Ski Passport holder photo) to the ticket agent.

3. The Steamboat Ticket Agent will provide a pass for the requested days.

Sunlight

1. Your CSCUSA 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Ski Passport holder must be present to redeem.

2. Visit the Sunlight Ticket Window on the day of your visit.

3. Lift ticket agent will look up the Ski Passport holder information by first name, last name, or DOB.

4. Sunlight will issue a daily lift ticket.

Telluride

CSCUSA Ski Passport holders must visit the ticket office on arrival to redeem their CSCUSA Ski Passport.

Winter Park

Advance reservations are not required at Winter Park.

1. On day of arrival, visit either Ticket Office (Winter Park or Mary Jane).

2. Let the Ticket Agent know you are with the CSCUSA Ski Passport program.

3. The Ticket Agent will look up a Ski Passport holder by first name and last name.

4. Ski Passport holder usage will be verified and a lift ticket issued.
