11.26 Wolf Creek Josh Baker Treasure Stoke Opening

On Saturday, October 26Wolf Creek Ski Area opened a significant improvement to the core of its chairlift system. TheTreasure Stoke chairlift, a six-person high-speed detachable made by Doppelmayr, replaces the existing Treasure lift and will provide guests with an easier loading and unloading experience. The ride up will be a little over six minutes; however, the lift’s capacity will remain the same. This will allow skiers and riders more time on the snow while preserving Wolf Creek’s low-density on-mountain experience.

Wolf Creek will reopen on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3 and tentatively plans to open for the season on Friday, November 8. Having received 31 inches of snow in the season to date, the mountain presently has a 19-inch base. Be sure to check Wolf Creek’s snow report through the week for updates about the upcoming weekend’s terrain and lift openings.
