If you havent made it up to Winter Park yet this summer, this coming weekend presents the perfect excuse, especially for those who enjoy specialty car shows. Vettes on the Rockies (VOTR), sponsored by Looking Glass Corvette Association of Lakewood Colorado and Purifoy Chevrolet, will be gathering at Winter Park resort from August 9 12 to celebrate the annual gathering that features Corvette owners from all across the United States. For the first time in 39 years, Vettes on the Rockies is being held at Winter Park Resort.
Vettes Head to Winter Park
So head on up to our majestic Rocky Mountains this weekend and enjoy three days of fun with your Corvette and other Corvette owners from all across the country. This is a new venue for VOTR, and there are a number of changes to this years event, including the addition of a wine tasting and moving the Show n Shine to Saturday. For the 2012 event, Vettes on the Rockies will also be making a charitable donation to both The Grand Foundation and the National Sports Center for the Disabled, both located in the Winter Park area.
The Show n Shine event on Saturday traditionally includes more than 350 Corvettes from every vintage. Additionally, there will be displays of special Corvettes from title sponsor, Purifoy Chevrolet.
