Due to an Indian Summer that has segued into an Indian Fall, Winter Park Resort has made the decision to delay their original opening and willopen for the 2016-17 ski/snowboard season on Wednesday, November 23. Keep an eye on CSCUSA’s Resort Season Dates page for up to date information on ski resort openings in Colorado.

Whether its the first day of the season, the 80th day, or the last day, Winter Park Resort is committed to providing the best possible conditions for skiers and riders. Addinganother successful week of snowmaking combined with an expected change in the weather pattern, Winter Park anticipates the Opening Day experience on November 23 to be consistent with the high expectations to which guests have become accustomed. If the snow-dances, trail maps in freezers, and other various superstitions should pay off with an abundance of snow in the interim, Winter Park will adjust its Opening Day accordingly.

When the resort opens, all resort Village restaurants and retail outlets will also be open (availability of on-mountain restaurants is subject to the opening of each establishments commensurate Territory).

Regardless of when lifts start turning, Winter Park is looking forward to another stellar season with the addition of the Winter Park Express train service from Denver Union Station, giving guests access to Winter Parks 3,000 acres of skiable terrain without having to worry aboutdriving.
