When youve been in the industry as long as we have, you think youve seen it all. But, once and a while, something unbelievable comes along. This year it comes from Aspen/Snowmass, The Ultimate Ski Pass.
What price would you put on an infinite number of guaranteed powder runs? For a mere $25,000, the Ultimate Ski Pass grants the holder unlimited first runs before the chairlifts open to the public.
Now before you start balking at the perceived outrageousness of such a product, know that by indulging in such luxurious skiing privileges, youd also be providing valuable support to worthy organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley. Proceeds from the passes will be divided between Roaring Fork Valley public schools and help to present events tied to World Cup ski racing in Aspen, which is the 2011 Aspen Winternational, where the Audi FIS Womens Alpine Ski World Cup will be held on Aspen Mountain on Saturday, November 26 for giant slalom, and slalom taking place on Sunday, November 27.
Ultimate Ski Pass holders also get to rub shoulders with members of the U.S. Womens Ski Team and can enjoy breakfast with Aspen native Bill Marolt, president of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.
Valid at Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass, there are only 18 Ultimate Ski Passes available.
