It’s the time of the year when Colorado starts to see more frequent days of snow and that is exactly what we’ve seen over the weekend. Colorado was left with beautiful scenery all across the state.
Seen above, A-Basin has seen several inches of new snow and has cold enough temperatures to continue with snowmaking as well. They just opened up more terrain with Ramrod now skiable!
Copper mountain is now seeing cold enough temperatures for snowmaking to start! Copper mountain plans on opening on November 8. As all resorts plan to open within the next 2 months – we are so excited to have mother nature helping out with Colorado’s great snow.
Ahh, the fabulous view of the Maroon Bells near Aspen Snowmass covered in a blanket of white. The four mountains associated with Aspen Snowmass plans on all mountains being open by December 7.
Purgatory resort saw it’s first good snow over the weekend as well! They are planning on opening by November 23. Of course, all ski areas are weather dependent so all season opening dates are subject to change.
Loveland Ski Area was hoping to open earlier than their posted date but mother nature wasn’t as kind to Loveland but with this most recent storm, it was. Loveland received over 10″ of snow! Making for an opening date looking good within the very near future.
