The first Valhalla Nights of the summer will take place tomorrow Friday, July 12, from 4 9 p.m. at Elk Camp in Snowmass.Valhalla Nights is an extension of the popular Ullr Nights that debuted this winter at Elk Camp and will feature evening downhilling and Bike Snowmass access, campfire and smores, lawn games, a climbing wall, a children’s playground and bikes, a fishing pond, live music and a BBQ.

The second annual Master of the Mass, a three-day Enduro Mountain Biking Race, also takes place down in Snowmass this weekend, July 12 14. This Friday guests at Valhalla nights will have the opportunity to watch the first stage of the Master of the Mass while enjoying beer specials from the deck of Elk Camp.
Additional Valhalla Nights will take place will take place July 12 and 19 and August 2, 16, 23 and 30.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and season passholders. Guests can also enjoy a Bike Clinic through Bike Snowmass from 4 7 p.m. The clinic meets at Four Mountain Sports Base Village and the cost is $129 which includes lift, bike rental, safety equipment, and lesson.
The last download for downhill biking is typically scheduled for 7 p.m. but due to Master of the Mass, this Friday it will be open until 8 p.m.

There is still time to register for Master of the Mass, July 12 14. The race is comprised of four stages over three days that test the all-around skills of racers as they face the challenge of using only one bike for all stages which include a chainless downhill, cross-country, downhill and super-downhill categories.
