The new Unleash the Fierce Weekend is coming to Copper Mountain this weekend, Sept. 9 – 11. Unleash the Fierce presented by Dirty Girl Mud Run spans across three days at Copper, with events including Wine Night #ForTheGirls, the Dirty Girl Mud Run, a Bennies and Bubbly Brunch and a #ForTheGirls Golf Scramble. The experience is all about empowerment, having fun and raising money for a good cause.
On Friday, Sept. 9, the weekend kicks off with Wine Night #ForTheGirls. From 7 8:30 p.m., guests both men and women are invited to Coppers C.B. Grille restaurant for wine tasting and appetizers, plus raffles for prizes such as skis, a snowboard, Copper winter lift tickets and more. The evening will also include a keynote speaker from Bright Pink.
Ladies get down and dirty at the Dirty Girl Mud Run on Saturday, Sept. 10. Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m. with the Sweat Like a Girl warm up at 9 a.m. From 10 a.m. 1:30 p.m., women will conquer a 5k course around Copper thats full of fun obstacles and of course, mud. The day also includes live music from Denvers SIR band, lawn games, giveaways and a costume party. For the evening, guests can take advantage of Girls Night Out to receive food and drink specials around Copper Mountain Resort.
On Sunday, Sept. 11, a free yoga session with Amy Hardwick in Coppers East Village begins at 7 a.m. for the early risers. From 8:30 10:30 a.m., a Bennies and Bubbly Brunch at JJs Rocky Mountain Tavern is set to feature several types of eggs benedict plus champagne and bloody marys. Wrapping up the weekend, ladies can grab their men for the #ForTheGirls Golf Scramble beginning with a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start at the Copper Creek Golf Course. No experience is required this golf outing is all about fun with surprise challenges at nearly every hole. The winning foursome will take home four 2016/17 Copper Mountain Season Passes.
The Unleash the Fierce Weekend is just $135 for all events including the Dirty Girl Mud Run. Each event is also available to purchase a-la-carte. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Bright Pink, the only national non-profit organization focused on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.
