A winter storm over the weekend dropped significant snow totals at Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resorts, leaving up to two feet of fresh powder for skiers and snowboarders across the state.
The southwest region saw some of the largest snow totals, with Silverton Mountain logging two feet of snow in 48 hours. Wolf Creek Ski Area received 23 inches of snow in 48 hours, while Telluride welcomed a total of 17 inches over the weekend.
Powderhorn led the Western region of the state, recording 18 inches of snow while Monarch Ski Area received 15 inches and Sunlight Mountain Resort saw 9 inches in 48 hours.
Front Range resorts also received substantial snowfall, with Cooper marking 13 inches on the snow stake. Echo Mountain recorded 12 inches of snow over the weekend, while Winter Park Resort received 11 inches of powder and Eldora welcomed 10 inches. Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and Copper Mountain each caught 7 inches of snow, while Loveland Ski Area saw 6 inches.
Snow fell at each of the four Aspen Snowmass resorts, with Snowmass recording 13 inches of fresh powder, while Aspen Mountain received 10 inches and Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk saw 7 inches and 6 inches, respectively.
Elsewhere in the state, 10 inches of fresh snow fell on both Purgatory Resort and Steamboat Resort.
