Season pass holders at Sunlight Mountain Resort can now enjoy three free ski days at Kiroro ski area located on Japans North Island, in addition to more free ski days at areas in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, and Washington.

Kiroro is located 35 miles west of Sapporo and 67 miles from the New Chitose Airport, about an hour and a half flight from Tokyo. Featuring 21 designated runs on 2,000 vertical feet and an abundance of off-piste skiing, Kiroro averages snowfalls topping 750 inches a year.

“Were excited to partner with Sunlight, we like the boldness illustrated with its Sunny $700 day ticket, and like Sunlight, Kiroro is also well-known for deep powder and great hot springs,” said Scot Ennis, vice president of international partnerships for Kiroro.

In addition to Kiroro, Sunlight season pass holders continue to enjoy four free days at Alp 2500 ski resort located in the Spanish Pyrenees. Back in the U.S., Sunlight announced other new partnerships provide season pass holders with three free days at Eaglecrest, Alaska, Snow King, Wyo., and Mission Ridge, Wash. Pass holders can also enjoy two free ski days at Lookout Pass, Idaho.

In closest proximity, Sunlight also partnered with Silverton Mountain. Silverton is for advanced to expert level skiers and riders and snow safety equipment is required. Season pass holders can now enjoy one free unguided ski day during the designated unguided season that runs March 30, 31, April 1, 6, 7, and 8th. Also included in the partnership, Sunlight pass holders receive 30 percent off guided skiing on Sundays in December and January and 30 percent off snow safety equipment rentals, both subject to availability and advanced reservations.

Our goal is to continually deliver the best value while also opening up new skiing and riding opportunities for our pass holders, so were particularly excited about the new partnerships weve formed for the upcoming season as well as the continuation of our existing partnerships with like-minded Western ski areas that our season pass holders have been enjoying for many seasons, said Troy Hawks, Sunlight marketing and sales director.

In addition to the new on-slope opportunities, Hawks said Sunlight season pass holders can also now enjoy a 10 percent food discount at Red Rock Diner, Carbondale and recieve $10 off a full service oil change at Grease Monkey located in Glenwood Springs. Also new this season, pass holders receive a 10 percent discount on all food items at Sunlights Outer Bounds Grill. Pass holders also receive 10 percent off all purchases at Sunlight Ski & Bike.
