As the ski season winds down in Colorados high country, Colorado Ski Country USA member ski areas are ready for summer with a slate full of exciting events for the most extreme outdoors enthusiasts, families and everyone in between.

Birdies, Bogeys & Bloodies August 5
Head up to Arapahoe Basins disc golf course for a day of birdies, bogeys and bloodies. Register for a 9-hole tournament (open to all ages, with some bloody mary tasting opportunities for those 21+) or just come up for the special vodka sampling in the base area (21+). Live music on the base area stage by P-Nuckle. Free chairlift rides are available from 11am-3pm.
Local Brew Fest August 12
Join Arapahoe Basin for a day of tastings from several Colorado breweries (11am-2pm) with live music from area-favorite Oakhurst (12-3pm) on the base area stage. Cost is $25 per mug, 21+. Free chairlift rides are available from 11am-3pm.

Enduro World Series Mountain Bike Race July 30-31
Aspen Snowmass will host the only U.S. stop of the Enduro World Series, which features eight rounds across three continents. Aspen Snowmass has been chosen to host round six of the prestigious race series that will feature some of the best mountain bike athletes in the world. The two-day event will blend high altitude riding adventures with some of the biggest descents and best riding in the area.
Audi Power of Four Trail Race August 5-6 The Audi Power of Four Trail events signature race is a challenging 50K Ultra that has been named the US Skyrunner Series North American Continental Championships this year. The race covers the four Aspen Snowmass mountains (Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountain) utilizing a mix of single track and dirt road.The event also offers a 25K race along the famed Government Trail that covers the mountains of Buttermilk and Snowmass as well as a Vertical K race up Aspen Mountain that is also part of the US Skyrunner Series.

Dirty Girl Mud Run June 10
Copper Mountain invites women to participate in the Dirty Girl Mud Run, one of the worlds largest womens only mud runs to raise awareness for breast cancer. All proceeds from the 5K race will benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer, a non-profit foundation that advocates early detection and a healthy, active and sustainable lifestyle.
2017 Under Armour Mountain Running Series Sept. 9-10
Copper Mountain will host the inaugural Under Armour Mountain Running Series, which features a 50K, marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, vertical challenge, 10K and 5K for professionals and novices alike. The courses will take runners on rocky paths, forests, open meadows and over mountain streams.

Mt. Crested Butte Farmers Market July 6-August 31
Head to the base area on Thursdays in July and August from 12 pm to 4 pm for the first ever Mt. Crested Butte Farmers Market. Vendors from across the region will offer a variety of artisan items, produce and specialty products. Afterwards, head to one of the mountain restaurants for market inspired food and drink specials. Outerbike June 27-28
One of the largest consumer bike shows will come to one of the birth places of the sport. The Evolution Bike Park offers something for everyone, so bring friends and family to soak up the impressive mountain views, then relax with a tasty beverage at the end of the day. Eldora Trail 10K and XTERRA Indian Peaks Triathlon August 5
After a three year hiatus, the Eldora Trail 10k will return in conjunction with the XTERRA Indian Peak Triathlon beginning at 8 am at the Eldora Nordic Center. The triathlon will feature a chilly 1,000 meter swim, followed by a hilly, but beautiful 22K bike ride before concluding with a 7K run. Visitwww.eldora.com for more information and to register.
Powderhorn Bike Park Opening Day June 24
Join Powderhorn for opening day of the bike park, including a new downhill trail for the summer. There will be live music plus food and beverage specials. All day tickets are $25 and scenic lift rides are $12.
Gears and Beers August 26
Back by popular demand, Gears & Beers returns to Powderhorn. One of the biggest events of the summer, Gears & Beers brings together bike and beer vendors for a day of biking and fun at the Powderhorn Bike Park with live music, games for kids, prize giveaways, free camping and more. All-day lift tickets only $25.

Opening Weekend and Adventure Zone June 30
Steamboat Resort will open for summer base area operations June 30 with the Coca-Cola Adventure Zones new summer activities, including the 18-hole Maverick Mini-Golf course, urban ropes course and summer tubing. Other activities opening June 30 include the Wild West Bounce House, Slingshot Bungee Trampoline and WaterWalkerz. Telluride Jazz Festival August 4-6
Nestled in the majestic San Juan mountain range, the Telluride Jazz Festival, will feature festival favorites like the New Orleans 2nd Line Parade, enhanced events like Wine & Whiskey, a new Jazz Art Walk and a closing show, The Final Waltz.
Telluride Festival of Cars and Colorado Sept. 21-24
The 3rd annual Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors is a world-class celebration for automobile aficionados and lifestyle enthusiasts placed against the backdrop of Tellurides spectacular palette of autumn colors. Focusing on high-end restorations, vintage and exotic vehicles, the festival will occupy three distinct venues over the course of four days: the downtown Telluride Historic District, Mountain Village and the Telluride Regional Airport.

Colorado Freeride Festival July 27-30
Winter Park Resort will once again host its four-day celebration of all things mountain biking, the Colorado Freeride Festival. Fun for participants and spectators alike, CFF features over 1,700 race starts in four mountain bike disciplines. It is the only FMBA Slopestyle Gold Level event in the state with some of the worlds top riders competing. In addition to competition, visitors can enjoy special mountain bike demonstrations in the Winter Park Village and plenty of events geared specifically for kids, including the Green Horn-It Challenge, a mountain bike decoration station and village parade.
