Steamboat Ski Resort is less than 100 days from the start of the 2020/21 winter season. While specific details are yet to be finalized, the resort is committed to opening and offering a safe and fun outdoor vacation destination for guests this winter. A big part of the resort’s winter plan is continuing to partner with major airlines to provide convenient, nonstop flights from around the U.S.
New this season, Southwest Airlines has selected Steamboat as the airline’s first seasonal, winter destination airport. Guests can fly nonstop from Denver three times a day starting December 19, 2020 or from Dallas Love Field on Saturdays and Sundays through April 5. Additionally, JetBlue has added a nonstop flight from New York’s JFK Airport on various Saturdays and Wednesdays.
“Southwest flying into Steamboat is a game changer. Their passengers are used to a certain level of customer service that we know will be met by the genuine friendly community of Steamboat,” said Rob Perlman, president and COO of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. “Steamboat now offers the best variety of airlines to a mountain destination with options that fit every skier and snowboarder’s needs.”
Alaska, American, JetBlue, Southwest and United Airlines provide nonstop access from 14 airports across the U.S. as well as convenient connections from more than 300 airports worldwide. Airfares and packages are now available for purchase at Steamboat.com/flights or by calling Steamboat Central Reservations® at 1-800-922-2722.
