Southwest and Central Colorado Ski Areas Buried Under Feet of Snow

February has been a very snowy month in Colorado, and within the last week, several Colorado ski areas have seen feet of snowfall on the slopes. 

Wolf Creek Ski Area

In what some are calling Snowmaggedon, Wolf Creek Ski Area has seen more than 3 feet of snow in 3 days and 74 inches in the last 7 days. The highest 24-hour snow total of this storm was 28 inches in 24 hours, which fell on Wolf Creek through mid-day Tuesday.

Purgatory Resort

Purgatory recorded 24 inches in 24 hours going into Friday, which brings their 7-day total to 49 inches, just over 4 feet of snow.

Powderhorn Resort

Powderhorn has received 15 inches of snow in last 48 hours, including a 13-inch overnight total going into Friday. In the past week, Powderhorn has received more than 3 feet of snow.

In the last 7 days, Telluride has received a foot and a half of snow.
