Thededicated staffat Colorado ski areas and resorts take safety very seriously, as you can see in the photo above from Copper Mountain’s Ski Patrol. Colorado’s ski areas are the state’s second largest users of explosives, which they use skilfully and judiciously to dislodge potentially unstable slabs of snow.
