Powder and Beer. Two of our favorite things. Resorts do a pretty good job at bringing the two together. Usually the beer is brought to the powder but this Saturday, January 8th, Copper is bringing the powder to the beer. The Copper Calvary is going to be in Boulder at Absinthe House on Walnut with drink specials and Snow Day Passes.
Must be the mountain air because were seeing resorts get really creative with deals. The latest is Coppers Snow Day Pass. The Snow Day Pass works like this, every time Copper gets four or more inches of snow, your lift ticket is on the house. You have to join the Snow Day team (that means buy the pass) for just $99, and then whenever it snows four or more inches, you ski for free.
The last chance to buy the Snow Day Pass is January 13th, so thats why going to the Absinthe House on Saturday might be a good idea. And if youve been paying attention to the snow totals this year, youd know that your chances of skiing a lot for free are pretty darn good.
For example, last year, Copper had 25 trails open and 50 inches of snow. THIS year, they have 133 trails open and 165 inches of snow, and its only January! The snowiest month is still ahead. On average Copper gets 4+ inches dumped on them 42 times a year. See for yourself on their mountaincam.
