Beginning in late June, Woodward introduces an all-new Freeride Mountain Bike Camp where campers will ride Copper Mountains lift-accessed terrain and some amazing public bike parks, including the nearby Frisco Bike Park. Developed and coached by freeride mountain bike pro Sasha Yakovleff, the camp will focus on downhill, dirt jump, and all aspects of freeriding through a series of safe and fun progression. Another innovative Woodward offering for the summer camp season: a Digital Media Camp focused solely on video production. This week long program gives campers the opportunity to build film making skills and knowledge. Instructors will teach skills in composition, exposure, focusing, lighting and video editing. For editing, campers will be assigned to an iMAC computer to learn the details of Final Cut Pro HD studio editing software. While at Woodward, all campers will also be able to experience many additional activities including trampolines, tie-dye, go karts, create-a-skate, music and more. Campers will live and eat at Coppers EDGE building, which is located right down the road from the Barn. Visit WoodwardatCopper.com for more info. Click here to view photos of the new facility.
