Mud, Fire and Barbed Wire: The Ultimate 5k Race and Festival Hits Copper, Aug. 18 – 19

Warrior Dash_Copper2

Copper Mountain Resorthosts the Warrior Dash for its third consecutive year on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19. Warrior Dash is a fierce 5K event that challenges, and welcomes, all athletic abilities. Adventure–seeking athletes will head to Copper Mountain Ski Resort to conquer 12 bigger and badder obstacles over more than three miles of extreme terrain. After completing the intense physical challenge, participants will celebrate their accomplishments alongside friends and family with live music, food, beer and front row seats to some of the most grueling obstacles.

The Copper Warrior Dash pre-party is back and crazier than ever. Friday, Aug. 17, skip the lines and get pre-registered for the next day’s battle starting at 4 p.m. Then head over to Burning Stones Plaza for one of the West’s best 80’s cover bands, That Eighties Band, kicking off at 5 p.m. and followed up by Dread Zeppelin, a reggae twist on your favorite Led Zeppelin songs, taking the stage at 8 p.m.

On Friday, Aug. 17, spend $30 dollars or more with Village at Copper merchants and let us treat you to a free round of Copper Village activities including go karts, mini golf, climbing wall and more.

The last thing you would want to do after jumping though fire, crawling through mud and celebrating at the Beer Garden Watering Hole is to get in your car and drive home. Copper Mountain has all Warriors covered with a 20% Off Lodging Deal! Copper Mountain will once again be offering hostel-style lodging for those on a super budget; $125 per room for a 2 night stay.

12/13 Copperlicious Season Passes are now on sale; this is the time to lock in the best deal for the winter!
