The Colorado mountain town globally known as Ski Town USA for the high number of U.S. Winter Olympians that train there, also is becoming recognized as Bike Town USA for one of its favorite summertime recreations. Surrounded by a bounty of road, trail and downhill mountain biking opportunities, Steamboat Springs, Colorado hosts four major bike races and numerous local bike-centric races and events this summer. Moving Mountains, the high end vacation rental specialist in Steamboat Springs, offers competitive and recreational cyclists five-star accommodations with easy access to biking trails and roads.

According to Steamboats Bike Town USA initiative website, the town boasts more miles of singletrack mountain biking 576 than anywhere else in North America. It has more miles of county roads to ride than elsewhere in Colorado. The seven-mile scenic Yampa River Core Trail allows residents and visitors to easily ride from the mountain area to downtown without encountering roads. Steamboat Springs is rated as a Gold Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. Even the entire fleet of free city buses sports bike friendly Share the Road bumper stickers.

Moving Mountains luxury homes are located throughout the mountain area, offering prime backdoor access to miles of county roads and trails on the Steamboat Ski Mountain, in the Routt National Forest, on Emerald Mountain and beyond. The homes five-star amenities provide guests a relaxing environment after an exhilarating day of biking.
