Monarch Mountain will open the Monarch Tubing Park on Thursday, November 29th 2018! The tubing park is the first of its kind in the valley and has been a part of Monarch Mountain’s master plan since 2011. The new feature has been under construction since May and will open for the first time on Thursday. The new rope tow ‘Kaleidoscope’, named for a group of butterflies, will start turning at 9 am.
The Monarch Tubing Park is open to all ages, riders must stand 36” tall or taller. Tubing sessions are an hour long and available every ¼ hour; additional hours may be purchased. The Tubing Park operating hours are 9-4 Thursday-Sunday. Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone, at the reservations counter in the Rental & Lesson Center, or at the check-in yurt at the base of the tubing hill.
‘We couldn’t be more excited about the new Tubing Park. Our hope is that it helps bring new visitors to the ski area and our surrounding communities by offering a fun and affordable alternative to skiing or snowboarding. We are all about family fun up here at Monarch and anything we can do to get more people outside and enjoying the mountains, is a win for us.’ Says General Manager Randy Stroud.
