Loveland Ski Areas 26th Annual Marry Me & Ski For Free Mountaintop Matrimony is thisTuesday, February 14, 2017. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Lovelands most popular events of the year and 75-100 participating couples are expected at this years event. If you havent seen a newlywed couple skiing down the mountain in full wedding attire, this is your chance! The Mountaintop Matrimony is for couples getting married or renewing their vows and takes place at12pmsharp outside the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, elevation 12,050 feet. All pre-registered couples get 2-for-1 lift tickets for the day, wedding cake and beer! Pre-registration is free and ends onFebruary 12, 2017.
The legal ceremony is a mass wedding done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. At the conclusion of the ceremony, all participants and guests will ski or snowboard down the mountain to the base area for a casual after party at1:30pmwith cake, a cider toast, music, and prizes. Couples are encouraged to dress in appropriate ski-wedding attire and there will be a best dressed contest at the reception.
