Summer 2016 at Copper Mountain is now underway as most summer activities, Copper Creek Golf Course and Woodward Copper Summer Camp are all in full swing.
Copper Summer Activities began Friday, June 10 andinclude scenic chairlift rides, diggler rentals, mini golf, bumper boats, bungee jumping, the climbing wall, and zip lining, all located in Center Village. Go-karting will open on Saturday, June 18. Mountain biking and disc golf access are scheduled to open in early July, dependent on weather and snow-melt. Summer activities will operate from 10 a.m. 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Lock in the fun for the whole summer with a Summer Season Activity Pass for $109, or take advantage of a Day Pass for $49.
Copper Creek Golf Course kicked off its season on Friday, June 10 with tee times from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. New this summer, golf bikes are available for rent in addition to the traditional golf cart.
Woodward Copper Summer Campis already in its second week and Big Island Parkis opens for public sessions as well.Woodward Copper is excited to offer a brand new surface lift for summer campers, the Super Tube. At 1,000 feet long, it is the longest surface lift in Colorado. By popular demand, Big Island Park is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer. Grab a Summer Season Pass for $199, or pick up a day pass in the Woodward Cage for just $25. Copper is thrilled to welcome Ride the Rockies as the tour celebrates its 31st year. Cyclists will embark on a week-long trek, with 2,000 riders calling Copper home-base for two days as they arrive from Aspen. As a host community, Copper invites all to join in on the action as friends and family cheer on the riders and celebrate their hard work with a festival including live music, lawn games and tasty treats. The 3rd annual Altitude Anonymous welcomes internationally recognized DJs including Christian Martin (Dirtybird), Huxley (Aus Music), Jon Charnis (Innervisions/No. 19), Lane 8 (Anjunadeep) and many more. This 4-day event is in its 8th year of inspiring participants of all ages and abilities with speakers like Amy Purdy, Kyle Maynard and J.R. Martinez. Attendees can choose from more than 50 adaptive activities to help themselves and their families break through barriers and connect with others.
