Is there any better way to après ski than basking in the sounds of live music? Whether you’re aiming to dance all night or just sip a beverage and tap your foot, Colorado ski areas host live music on the slopes throughout the season.

Winter Park Resort

Fat Tire & Friends Music Series

Every weekend January – March, skiers and riders can head down to the Base of Mart Jane for the Fat tire & Friends music series from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday. Great Colorado bands will entertain crowds with country, americana, bluegrass, indie, and rock. If the sun is shining, the event will be hosted outside on the Club Car patio.

Campfire Music Series

Kick back around the campfire and enjoy some live tunes at the Village gazebo. This family-friendly event is free and happens every Wednesday throughout the Winter. Local musicians will bring an acoustic blend of original Country, Blues, Folk, Rock, and other covers of all-time favorites.

Spring Splash and Bash Concert Series

Taking place every weekend in April, the Spring Splash and Bash will bring live music to Winter Park Resort throughout the month, plus other activities including pond skimming.

Telluride Ski Resort

Music on the Mountain

Telluride offers après ski and live music at the Telluride’s premier slopeside tavern, the Tomboy Tavern, every Wednesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The WinterWonderGrass Festival brings an authentic Colorado gathering celebrating bluegrass and craft beer to Steamboat February 22-24, 2019. The festival features more than 25 bands and 20 Colorado breweries over four days.

Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Series

The Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concert series will return for the 2018-19 ski season, offering a great mixture of musical genres on Saturdays in March and April. The series has featured everything from bluegrass to New Orleans style rhythm and blues and traditional Irish music to flat out rock and roll.

Steamboat Springalicious Festival ‘19

The Steamboat Ski Area celebrates the close of the 2018-19 winter season with a multi-week festival including a boatload of Springalicious festivities, fun events such as the Cardboard Classic, and several free music concerts.

Aspen Snowmass

X-Games (January 24-27, 2019)

X Games will return to Buttermilk in Aspen, Colorado for the world’s best action sports, music and festival experience — on snow! All sport competitions are free and open to the public. X Games Aspen will host musical performances by Lil Wayne, Louis The Child, The Chainsmokers and Kygo as they take the stage alongside the most progressive winter athletes at Buttermilk on January 24 – 27. Live coverage of the event will air on ESPN and ABC.

Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series

For the 16th consecutive year, Aspen Snowmass will present a season-long series of free concerts in partnership with Bud Light. The Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series will offer something for everyone this season, with free concerts held at Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza, Snowmass Base Village and downtown Aspen.

Après at the Limelight

The hottest après-ski spot in town, the Limelight Hotel welcome some of Aspen’s favorite local bands to the Lounge’s stage from Thursday to Monday 4:30–7:30pm.

Shakin’ at the Basin Spring Concert Series
