Monarch Mountain and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area have announced a partnership agreement for the 2019-20 season that provides full season pass holders from both mountains with three, free reciprocal days with no blackout dates. The three days at Monarch are in addition to three days at Taos Ski Valley that A-Basin full season pass holders can enjoy during the 2019-20 ski and snowboard season. This announcement concludes A-Basin’s new partnership arrangements for the 2019-20 season.
The similarities between the two ski areas made for a logical partnership.
“Friends will be friends. We’ve always had a strong connection with A-Basin due to our similar cultures and our commitment to the authentic skiing experience. Now our passholders can share that experience … and, hopefully have some laughs together along the way. We couldn’t be more thrilled.” says Monarch General Manager, Randy Stroud.
The partnership will apply to full-benefit passes from either mountain. It will not be valid for Monarch’s 80th Anniversary pass, Arapahoe Basin’s Mid-Week pass, The Mountain Collective Pass, or any IKON pass product.
Ikon and Collective pass holders looking to ski Monarch can take advantage of the Migration Ticket. This product allows season pass holders from other mountains to purchase an adult Monarch Mountain lift ticket at 40% off the window price.
Monarch is also excited to announce that they have added 3 free days at Granby Ranch and will continue to work with the Powder Alliance for the upcoming season
In addition to lift tickets, A-Basin offers several pass options providing access to the mountain during the 2019-20 winter season, listed below. The only way to enjoy unlimited skiing and snowboarding at A-Basin—more than seven days without blackout dates—is to purchase an A-Basin season pass.
