Expanded Flight Options to Crested Butte Sees Service From Five Major U.S. Hub Airports

Destination skiers and snowboarderswill enjoy expanded flight options toto Crested Butte Mountain Resort this winter.Expanded service into Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) for the 2015-16 winter season includes flights from Alaska Airlines, American Airlines and United Airlinesserving guests traveling fromDallas (DFW), Houston (IAH), Chicago (ORD), Los Angeles (LAX) and Denver (DEN). Through both carriers’ extensive flight network, guests can get to Crested Butte from anywhere in the world.

New for the 2015-16 ski season, Alaska Airlines will operate twice-weekly direct service to Gunnison/Crested Butte from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning December 16, 2015 and flies through March 26, 2016. Upon landing, shuttles are available to transport guests to resorts in the area. Guests can also utilize rental car services from Hertz, Avis, or Budget.

United Airlines will have two nonstop round trip flights daily between Gunnison/Crested Butte Regional Airport and Denver, while American Airlines will have one nonstop round trip flight daily between Gunnison/Crested Butte Regional Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with an additional second service in the peak holiday period. In addition, United Airlines will provide daily service from Houston International Airport and Chicago OHare International Airport.
