Eldora Mountain Resort opened for its 50th season today, Friday, November 16th. The resort opened with three trails and three lifts operating. Hornblower and International, from the top of Challenge Mountain, and the beginner area behind Indian Peaks Lodge opened. Cold temperatures which moved in last weekend allowed snowmaking operations to run through this week, providing a 20 inch base of machine made snow. Lifts will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
