Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), the state trade association and global voice of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, today announced that Echo Mountain will join the association effective immediately.

Echo Mountain, which is only 50 minutes away from downtown Denver and offers night skiing six nights a week, becomes the 23rd member of CSCUSA. The ski area will join Colorado Ski Country USAs existing pass programs: the Passport Program, which offers 5th graders three free days of skiing and riding at 22-member resorts and 6th graders four days for only $105, and the Gems Card, which can be purchased for $25 and provides two-for-one lift tickets or 30 percent off adult lift tickets at the now 10 Gems Resorts.

Colorado Ski Country USA welcomes Echo Mountain to our family of world class ski resorts, said Colorado Ski Country USA President and CEO Melanie Mills. Echo will give families and individual skiers and riders, especially those along the Front Range, a new and convenient option when choosing where to enjoy Colorados consistently great snow conditions.

Echo Mountain is in its second year of operation under the direction of CEO Peter Burwell and General Manager Fred Klaas. The ski area offers six trails on 60 acres and features a redesigned lodge with a restaurant and bar overlooking the Continental Divide.

Echo Mountain is excited to be joining Colorado Ski Country USA to offer a family-friendly, affordable ski area close to the Front Range, said Fred Klaas, General Manager of Echo Mountain. We have something for everyone at Echo, whether youre looking to grow your skills and explore new terrain or youre a more experienced skier or rider looking for a few runs during the day or night skiing after work.

Echo Mountain is scheduled to open November 21, 2017. Open Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m. 9 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. 9 p.m., Echo is the closest ski area to Denver, just 35 miles from downtown. Visit www.echomountainresort.com for more information including season pass and ticket prices.
