Deep double-digit snow totals continue to pile up across Colorado as a series of storms has delivered more snow to the Centennial State. This storm has delivered nearly 20 inches of fresh snow to Colorado ski areas, on the heels of almost three feet of snow in Colorado before the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend.

Every ski area in Colorado has seen snowfall from this storm cycle, with Powderhorn Resort leading the state at 19 inches of new snow in the last three days. Aspen Snowmass has also seen deep snow totals on the snow stake, with 17 inches falling at Snowmass and 15 inches at Aspen Highlands in the last 72 hours. Monarch Mountain and Winter Park Resort have each seen 16 inches of fresh snow, while Silverton Mountain in southwest Colorado has received 15 inches of snowfall.

Telluride Ski Resort has been blanketed in 14 inches of powder, while Steamboat Resort and Eldora have both reported 13 inches of new snow in the last 72 hours. Howelsen Hill Ski Area in downtown Steamboat Springs has seen a foot of snow, with 10 inches falling overnight. Sunlight Mountain Resort and Loveland Ski Area are enjoying 11 inches of fresh snow, while 9 inches have fallen at Copper Mountain, Cooper and Buttermilk.

With several feet of snow in the month of January and more snow in the forecast, skiers and riders can expect great snow conditions at Colorado’s ski areas.
