Come Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Colorado Ski Country

With the holiday of love approaching just around the corner, CSUSA wants to help you make the most of your 2014 Valentines Day. Our member resorts across the state are reporting powder conditions with more powder to come, so what better way to spend it than to get back out on those slopes? Heres a list of some fun events you might like to attend:

Uncorked and in Love, Copper Mountain- Feb.14- Feb 16, 4-7pm

After a full day of skiing and a relaxing sleigh ride, take your lover down to the Uncorked and in Love event. Starting Friday the 14th, chefs at Copper mountain restaurants will be offering unique dinner specials with affordable wine from across the globe that will be sure to put your palette to the test. On Saturday, Copper will host a Wine-n-Wing challenge followed by a free moonlight snowshoe tour and fireworks to end the night. Mountaintop Matrimony, Loveland- Feb.14

 

This event is one of Lovelands most popular, and calls for newlyweds and old timers to say I do once again (or for the first time). Registered couples must sign in before attending, and be at the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin by 11:30am. The ceremony will be followed by an after party at 1:30 at the base of Loveland basin. Pre-register by Feb 12 to be eligible for a 2 for 1 lift ticket offer, and lunch voucher for $10 that has a $12 value! Valentines Swing Night, Crested Butte Feb.14

 

This introductory swing dance class will be sure to sweep your lover off their feet. Dont have a date? Not a problem. Guests might just meet the man/woman of their dreams at this event, but theyll have to go to find out. Pre-registration is encouraged, as this event is known to sell out quickly. Twister of Love Speed Dating, Crested Butte- Feb. 15

 

All the single ladies (and men), are invited to ride Crested Buttes Twister lift on February 15th for a fun day of twister, skiing, and meeting new friendly faces. Guests can hang down at the bottom, or take a speed date (chairlift) to the top. Costumes are highly encouraged, because face it, who can reject someone wearing a banana suit? Reggae Concert, Snowmass Feb 15. 3pm

 

Come jam out with Black Uhuru and Matthew Moon at the Snowmass base village for some family fun this weekend! Following the show, Bud Light will be a hosting a big-air competition open to the public. Torchlight Parade and Fireworks, Steamboat Feb 14.

Steamboat will be hosting a torchlight parade in celebration of Valentines Day. Come see youngsters and old timers ski down the mountain lit only by torches. Following the parade, grab a hot chocolate at the lodge to sit back and warm up for the fireworks. New Belgium Scavenger Hunt, Arapahoe Basin Feb 15.

Get your hunt on at A-Basin for a chance to rep your favorite costume, chase chickens, search for Bigfoot and answer some riddles all while raising money for the High Country Conservation Center (HC3). Valentines Day Dinner at the Lodge, Winter Park Feb 14.
