“Thanks to the long hours and hard work of our snowmaking crew, we are ready to kick off the 2012-13 season on Tuesday morning,” said Rob Goodell, director of business operations. “We are very proud of the conditions we will offer our guests on Tuesday. The coverage is exceptional from top to bottom, and we invite everyone to come up to celebrate the first day of our 75th anniversary season.”

Loveland will offer lift served access to one top-to-bottom run covered with an 18 inch base. Skiers and riders will drop nearly one thousand vertical feet in a little over a mile via the trails Catwalk, Mambo & Homerun.
“We are putting the finishing touches on the base area and also setting up 5 terrain park features towards the top of Mambo,” said Trail Maintenance and Snowmaking Manager Bobby Babeon. “The first skiers and riders of the season are really going to enjoy the conditions. Now that Catwalk, Mambo and Homerun are ready, we will shift our snowmaking efforts to additional terrain at Loveland Basin.”
