Colorado Ski Country Thanksgiving Message

Its Thanksgiving morning, and we thought this would be a good time to have a one-on-one with you, our reader. We, the staff of Colorado Ski Country USA, want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. The Turkey Day Holiday Weekend at Colorado Ski Country is a special time of year for us, just as it is for you.

And since its a time to reflect on what were all thankful for, we thought wed take a moment and write an open letter to our fellow ski and ride enthusiasts, our readers of the Club Colorado Blog, those who interact with our Facebook page, Twitter feed, Pinterest, and Tumblr and Flickr accounts. Youre the ones who we see every weekend out on the slopes shredding pow-pow, hitting the back bowls, meandering down bunny hills. You not only have a shared appreciation for our sport, but a fervent passion for what we all collectively do.

This Thanksgiving, were thankful for You.

Yes, You.

Snow is great: it drives our industry and makes for dream powder days. New fancy gondolas, restaurants and bars are cool they help create one awesome ski experience. But this year, weve reflected and decided its You that were thankful for. Our slope-side cohorts. Whether Youve high-fived one of us after a trick in the half-pipe, met us and other new friends over aprs cocktails, or hung out and learned something new with us, You are part of the camaraderie that makes our sport. You are part of the Colorado Ski Country team.

Powder Day at Ski Granby Ranch_John Trousdale

So, friend, have a blast today eating turkey, over-doing it and cramming in that extra piece of pie and taking the time to laugh with friends. Ski season is upon us and we at Ski Country will be right here all season long sharing news, updates, snow reports and most importantly, powder day runs.

Aspen Mountain, Snowmass and Telluride all open in three hours.

Thanks for being a part of the team.
