Colorado Ski Country Launches 2012-13 5th and 6th Grade Passport Programs

Today Colorado Ski Country announced our popular 5th and 6th Grade Passport Programs are now available for the 2012/13 ski season. The Passport Programs introduce fifth and sixth grade kids to skiing and snowboarding by giving fifth graders free access, and sixth graders discounted access, to 20 of Colorados finest ski resorts.

As the industrys most influential program, the CSCUSA 5th Grade Passport allows fifth graders three days of free skiing at each of the 20 CSCUSA participating member resorts. The 6th Grade Passport allows sixth graders four days of skiing at the same 20 resorts for $99, which amounts to 80 days on the slopes for less than $1.25 each day.

Also for the 2012/13 ski season, CSCUSA will offer First Class Lessons to complement the 5th Grade Passport Program. First Class provides fifth graders, who are new to both skiingand snowboarding, the opportunity to learn the sport from some of the best instructors in the industry. Registered 5th Grade Passport holders who are considered never-evers areeligibleto receive a free ski or snowboard lesson, including rental equipment, during the month of January, which is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month.Fifth graders have the option of 17 different resorts to have their introductory experience on snow. Advanced reservations are required for First Class.

Between the varied terrain, geographical diversity and consistent snowy conditions, Colorado Ski Countrys 5th and 6th grade programs give children the opportunity to experience an array of resorts here in Colorado. Whether they are just starting out and want to take advantage of the First Class deal, or are seasoned veterans and want to experience a resort they havent been to yet, the Passports provide unbridled opportunities for the kids and an affordable experience for the family as a whole.
