College Students Score Deep Discounts in Colorado Ski Country

Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) member resorts are offering steep discounts on skiing and riding for college students across the state during the 2018-19 winter season. Season pass deals, multiday lift ticket packages, discounted lessons, discounted dining options and group activities are great for any college student, whether they are longtime residents who have grown up skiing and riding or entirely new to the state and Colorado’s winter sports.

Below are the Colorado Ski Country deals and discounts that college students shouldn’t miss.

Individual Resort College Student Deals and Discounts

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area

Arapahoe Basin offers the Elevation 4-Day Pass, valid any four days of the 2018-19 season with no restrictions or black-out dates. The Elevation Pass is currently $179, making it a good option for college students who aren’t ready to commit to a season pass but want to get a few days on the mountain at less than $45 per day. Aspen Snowmass

College skiers and riders at Aspen Snowmass can purchase the College Premier Pass for $679. The Premier Pass includes unlimited skiing or riding plus more than $1,000 in benefits including discounted ticket vouchers for family and friends, discounts at other destinations and on lessons, rentals and dining. Cooper

The Cooper XP Pass, which is only on sale in October and November, is a 4-day pass for only $129. The pass offers college students four days of skiing for less than $33 a day. For more information, visit www.skicooper.com.

Copper Mountain

Cooper Mountain offers discounted season passes for enrolled college students. The Copper Mountain College Season Pass is currently $389, while the College Secret! Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Crested Butte season passes, including the Peak Pass and Peak Pass Plus, are discounted for college students with valid ID. Until December 2, the Peak Pass Plus is $789, while the Peak Pass is $589 for college students. For more information, visit www.skicb.com.

Echo Mountain Resort

Echo Mountain offers a discounted College Season Pass for $229 for students who present an active student ID or recent transcript at time of pass pick up. Eldora

Eldora offers two season passes for college students. The College Full Pass is currently $369 and offers unlimited skiing and riding, while the College Midweek Pass for skiing Monday-Friday is $249. Students must attend full-time, be under age of 26 at the time of purchase and must present current class schedule, valid college ID, and government issued ID for verification when the pass is printed. Granby Ranch

Granby Ranch offers college students a discount deal called the Hooky Pass, good for 50 percent off a weekday lift ticket Monday-Thursday during the months of January and February. Another great option for college students at Granby Ranch is the 4-Pack, valid for four days of skiing or snowboarding January 7-March 31, 2019 for only $129. Hesperus Ski Area

Howelsen Hill

Steamboat Springs skiers and riders can purchase Alpine, Nordic and Combo Full-Time College Student Passes to Howelsen Hill. The Alpine Pass is available to college students for only $120. Kendall Mountain

Loveland Ski Area

Loveland Ski Area offers the Young Adult Season Pass, reserved for those between the ages of 15 and 22, for only $309. The pass also includes 96 days of skiing and riding at 32 partner mountains, plus additional on-mountain discounts and benefits. For more information, visit www.skiloveland.com.

Monarch Mountain

Monarch Mountain sells a discounted College Pass for only $289. It includes over 100 free and discounted days of skiing and riding at partner resorts, plus discounts on rentals, lessons and dining. Verification of enrollment is required. For more information, visit www.skimonarch.com.

Powderhorn Resort

Powderhorn Resort offers two products for college students. The College Holiday Pass for $169 is valid from Opening Day to January 21, 2019, while the College Spring Pass for $269 is valid from January 21 to Closing Day. Prices will increase December 14. Purgatory Resort

Silverton Mountain

Steamboat Resort

Steamboat’s Boat Launch Pass, a 3-Day pass for any three days between November 22 and December 16, is the perfect fit for students looking to take advantage of winter vacations. Sunlight Mountain Resort
