Get into the holiday spirit and close out 2014 at Copper Mountain with plenty of events including Christmas and New Years Eve celebrations, new terrain openings and lots of snow to go around.

U.S. Revolution Tour

The U.S. Revolution Tour returns to Copper Monday, Dec. 15 through Friday, Dec. 19 for slopestyle and halfpipe events. The U.S. Revolution Tour has proved to be a progressive venue for todays top junior riders to take the competitive stage in halfpipe, slopestyle, snowboardcross and big air. The tour is designed to serve as a stepping-stone for athletes making the transition from competing at the grassroots level to the elite level. The series pre-qualifies a portion of its field and then opens registration to any athlete, but is focused towards riders 13-19 years old. Top winners may earn an invite to be part of the U.S. Grand Prix, Junior Worlds, USASA Nationals, and participate in Project Gold camps. Mountain Safety Course for Women

Calling all women, SAFE AS comes to Copper Dec. 20 21. These two one-day events feature a womens only introduction to avalanche safety course with some of the industrys best including Elyse Saugstad, Michelle Parker and Robin Van Gyn. Ladies ages 14 and up will enjoy yoga with Sherry McConkey, classroom instruction, small group on-snow instruction and an aprs party with a raffle for great prizes. Twelve Days of Copper

From Saturday, Dec. 20 to Wednesday, Dec. 31, your true love Copper features several specials and deals across the resort as a part of 12 Days of Copper. A partridge in a pear tree is not guaranteed but stranger things have happened. For a full list of deals, visit CopperColorado.com.

Complete the holiday season this year with Copper Mountains annual Christmas Eve and New Years Eve celebrations. On Wednesday, Dec. 24, Kris Kringle himself makes a final appearance with a torchlight parade and kids glow-light pageant at 6 p.m. and a fireworks display over West Lake in Center Village at 7 p.m. Keep the celebration going into 2015 with New Years Eve festivities on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Grab a hot cocoa for the USASA Rocky Mountain Series rail jam on Lower Bouncer in Center Village at 4:30 p.m. then gather around a bonfire for the torchlight parade and kids glow-light pageant at 6 p.m. Fireworks round out the evening in Burning Stones Plaza at 10 p.m. Keep the night going with champagne toasts at Endos Adrenaline Caf and Jacks Bar as well as live music from Lefty Lucy from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Jacks Bar and Moe Dixon at JJs Rocky Mountain Tavern from 10 p.m. 12:30 a.m.

For those who want more skiing and riding from Santa this year, terrain off the Super Bee lift including The U.S. Ski Team Speed Center is now open to the public. Coppers West Village, known for its progressive learning terrain, will open for the winter season on Thursday, Dec. 18 with Union Creek and Kokomo lifts as well as Rugrat, Slingshot and Glide surface lifts.
