The Little Nells third annual Clip-In With Christian Cycling camp takes place this fall, coinciding with Aspens peak fall foliage. Cyclists of all abilities are invited to take part in this adventure of a lifetime riding Aspen’s most famed roads with pros, wining and dining, staying in deluxe accommodations and being outfitted by their sponsors SCOTT USA bikes, Giro and Smith.
As featured in the current issue of Aspen Peak magazine, the venerable Vande Velde describes, The goal of the camp is, first and foremost, to have a good time. And honestly, if you dont have a good time with friends, biking in Gods country, and staying at The Nell, well, we have bigger issues we need to address.
The Little Nell haslined up an ensemble cast of specialists to lead this adventure with The Nell, including former pros Christian Vande Velde, George Hincapie and Craig Lewis, joined by female pro cyclist Gabby Pilote. Vande Velde was the 2012 USA Pro Challenge champion and Hincapie is one of only two riders to have raced on nine teams that won the Tour de France. Riders will be accompanied every step of the way by our pros and team mechanic Tom Hopper. Dr. Allen Lim will administer hydration testing, a sodium sweat analysis that will help riders determine the amount of salt and water you need to replace during heavy exercise. The Nells adventure photographer will also be along for the ride, documenting all the action for posterity.
