Friday, February 5 @ 5pm: The Goonies rock the plaza stage. This maybe the best 80s concert Durango has ever seen.
Saturday, February 6 @ 5pm: Rolling Stones tribute band Start Me Up will take you back to 1965 when it all began.
Saturday, February 6 @ 6:30pm: Guests can enjoy the spectacular beauty of an amazing fireworks show during the concert intermission.
Guests can be part of Purgatory’s historyby writingdown their favorite Purgatory memory and dropping it in the resort’s time capsule. The time capsule will be on display all weekend and at the end of the season, they’llbury it and open it in 2065.
Guests can test theirpop culture knowledge from the past five decades. Hoody’s will hosttwo nights of trivia, 50 questions each night corresponding to each of the 50 years between 1965 2015. Friday and Saturday in Hoodys @ 8pm and lots of prizes!
What better occasion to watch Super Bowl 50 than at Purgatory’s 50th birthday party?On Sunday, Feb. 7, the resort is offering$50 lift tickets. Guests can enjoy a day of skiing and then watch the big game at one of three great viewing venues with fun, food and fantastic giveaways.
