Snowmaking operations have begun at Sunlight. Sunlight has received about 6 inches of new snow from the late-October storm, and with temperatures diving below zero the conditions for making snow are prime.

Today Sunlight Mountain Resort announced it will offer free skiing and riding to all active firefighters and first responders as part of its new Firefighter Funday campaign.
