Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) launches a spring sale on season pass products for the 2016-2017 winter season; holding this years prices for next year. Buy next years Peak Pass or Peak Pass Plus between March 2 and April 3, 2016 to get the best prices for next year, after which the pass prices will go up. The Adult Peak Pass starts at $629 and Peak Pass Plus is $839, with many additional benefits for pass holders with the upgraded pass option. 2016-2017 season passes will be valid November 24, 2016 April 9, 2017.
We wanted to be able to offer our guests the 2015 rate on passes to encourage renewal and early commitment, but knew that with rising costs to operate the ski area each year it can be difficult to do, explains Scott Clarkson, vice president of marketing and sales for CBMR. Offering a Spring Sale allows us to hold the price for a limited time period for our most loyal pass holders who would like to renew or purchase early to realize the most savings. We are looking at some exciting new reciprocity relationships with other resorts that will increase the value of some of our pass products accordingly.
In addition, the CBMR offers a Pass Protection Program where pass holders can purchase coverage on their pass investment, in case of unforeseen accidents or life changes. The resort encourages this with every pass purchase, especially if you purchase now for next season.
Pass sales will remain at this rate until closing day of the 2015-2016 winter season, April 3, 2016. After this date, prices will increase to a pre-season rate and then an in-season rate. A price breakdown is as follows for the Peak Pass and Peak Pass Plus:
