This years Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo will not only have skis and snowboards, but in true Colorado fashion, there will be beer. And not just beer, but beer tasting, savoring, and sampling.
This years Expo will bring together two of Colorados favorite passions, skiing and beer. Folks who ski in Colorado are passionate about powder. And nothing goes better with a day of powder skiing than beer. As luck would have it, Colorado is home to more than 22 ski areas and, home to more micro brews than any other state.
So, at this years 20th Annual Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo, the first, and hopefully annual, Rocky Mountain Brew Fest debuts. For an additional $25 ($20 if purchased in advance online before midnight, Nov. 3), Expo visitors can sample dozens of handcrafted beers and ales during one of four 3-hour tasting sessions during the weekend.
Times: Friday, Nov. 4 from 6-9 PM
Saturday, Nov. 5 from 1-4PM or from 5-8PM
Sunday, Nov. 6 from 2-5PM
A separate ticket to the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo is required to attend the Brew Fest. Expo tickets are $12 at the door or online at www.OnTheSnow.com.
A $30 combination ticket can be purchased online by using the promo code BREW.
Award-winning Colorado breweries that will be pouring some of their signature brews and ales include: Boulder, Bristol, Breckenridge and Oskar Blues just to name a few. Then tasters can move on to Odell and Left Hand Brewing. Those looking for a true taste of Bavaria and other imports can linger around the Paulaner booth.
