Aspen’s Limelight Hotel Offers Learn to Ski and Snowboard Package

The hotel, which is situated just steps from the world-famous slopes of Aspen Mountain, will now offer a Beginner Incentive Package. The ease of this all-inclusive package is bound to make a lifetime skier of any guest.

The package will offer three full days of adult beginner lessons and four nights at the Limelight Hotel. In addition to the lessons and lodging, guests will be provided with guides to escort skiers and riders to the slopes each day. Additionally, ski or snowboard boot rentals, skis, snowboards and helmets are also included. Guests have the option to rent goggles, gloves, jackets and outerwear upon arrival from local partners. Snowshoe Tours

The Limelight offers guests complimentary snowshoe tours in partnership with Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES). Naturalist guides take guests along mountain streams, over ridgelines and through valleys while learning about the mountain ecology and environment. Tours will take place most Wednesdays beginning Jan. 6, 2016 with participants departing the hotel at 10 a.m. and returning at noon.

Groomer Snowcat Rides

Find out how the slopes of Aspen Mountain are perfected each evening by riding shotgun in a snowcat machine. An Aspen Snowmass grooming pro/snow cat operator will take two guests at a time on an intimate behind-the-scenes ride in the Bison 350 Prinoth top-of-the-line snowcat. Guests will ride in style next to the driver as they learn how cat drivers groom the slopes as well as get a glimpse into the daily operation of running a ski resort all while enjoying the sunset and views of downtown Aspen. The cost is $100 for two people. The Limelight Hotel snowcat tours will leave at 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from now until Apr. 19, 2016.
