Denvers annual winter festival announced its full schedule of exhibits and events spotlighting artists, athletes and entrepreneurs. Their inspiration is drawn from the Colorado culture of snow and all that it incites.
Now entering its 5th year, Art of Winter was originally launched as a public complement to the SnowSports Industries America (SIA) Snow Show. What began on Larimer Square as a small, two-part exhibition of independent ski and snowboard brands and original works of upcycled art is now a city-wide showcase of ideas, innovations, and ebullience that the Colorado winter gives rise to. Art of Winter brings together designers, makers and leading cultural organizations in presenting a vibrant slate of snow-inspired programs giving the Denver community just one more reason to turn out in winter.
Historic Larimer Square, Denver Theatre District and Denver International Airport will serve as hubs of 2015 Art of Winter exhibits and events.
